Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you require (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL

Time of the server request
IP address

This data will not be merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

4. Analysis tools and advertising

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is intended to check whether the data entered on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of time the website visitor spends on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.

For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy, please see the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.

5. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to uniformly display fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This allows Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Use of Google Analytics | with anonymization function

Google Analytics is a web analysis service. Web analysis is the collection, gathering and evaluation of data about the behavior of visitors to websites. A web analysis service collects, among other things, data about which website a data subject came to a website from (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. Web analysis is mainly used to optimize a website and to carry out a cost-benefit analysis of internet advertising.

The operating company of Google Analytics is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

The purpose of using Google Analytics is to analyze the visitors to our website. Using the statistics obtained, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f of GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes mentioned above.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. These are cookies from Google itself (Google Analytics cookies) and so-called third-party cookies (DoubleClick cookies). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization: We have activated the IP anonymization function in Google Analytics on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

This website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics. This enables reports to be created that contain information about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and from visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described under “Objection to data collection”.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link [http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de].

We have concluded a contract with Google for order data processing and implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Further information and Google’s applicable data protection regulations can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html.

Google Analytics is explained in more detail at this link https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags via one interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookieless domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been made at domain or cookie level, this will remain in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
