Roland Lehmann started marketing personal lubricants in Trier in 1997. The entrepreneur had realised that moisturising gels could provide a wide range of benefits in the medical field, whereas the focus at the time was only on sexuality.
However, in the founder’s opinion, this was not enough. Personal lubricants can perform many more helpful tasks. They can protect, cleanse and care for mucous membranes and the skin in general. The aim of the company’s own product range was and is to make a valuable contribution to healthy skin by adapting the pH value to the respective application and to use gels, oils and emulsions in such a way that they act almost like a second protective skin.
Roland Lehmann’s success proved him right. In 2006, he therefore founded the company LIVONDO together with his wife Carola Claudia Lehmann. As a quality manager, she has particularly in-depth expertise in the field of medical products. In 2017, she realised her heart’s desire and developed her own certified natural cosmetics baby care brand called vujo Frischling. This was followed in 2023 by the VEMAL intim brand, a certified natural cosmetics care range.
